Arizona Getaway

We recently decided to head for warmer climes. Spent a couple of nights at the Fremont Experience in Lost Wages. Had a big ol' time. Lost some serious weight(out of my wallet). We spent some time with an old army buddy of mine in Needles, CA. He owns Mystic Maze Honey company, has some truckloads of bee hives over in the Bakersfield area. Very interesting to watch the processing of his honey.(from the bees, not his wife!!) The desert was actually greening up a little, first time in about 15 yrs. We went on to the Grand Canyon, still winter there, the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. Spent the whole day being tourists. When I was driving truck we called them terrorists!!! From there we went to Glen Canyon Dam, Zion National Park and varius tourist traps. Spent three more nights in Casino/Hotels. Had great fun, still didn't make any money! It was a great trip but was sure glad to be home.
